All Wales Grant Scheme
Communities across Wales can now benefit from a grant scheme launched by one of Wales’ leading environmental charities, Keep Wales Tidy and Tesco.
Community environmental groups across Wales are being invited to apply to the All Wales Grant Scheme, with grants of £100-£500 available to help them with their green initiatives.
The scheme was launched after 27,000 Tesco customers voted for Keep Wales Tidy as the charity to benefit from Tesco’s single use carrier bag charge in Wales from 1st October 2014.
Schools and community groups can apply for a grant to help them in their litter-picking activities, small allotment projects and general cleaning and greening up the community.
Have a Wild Weekend for pollinators!
Thanks to an initiative launched by Keep Wales Tidy and funded by the Welsh Government’s Nature Fund, people across Wales can apply for free Garden Centre vouchers to help pollinators in 2015.
Natural Buzz is a pollinator initiative run by Keep Wales Tidy in partnership with the Horticultural Trade Association and Green Space Wales.
To help people make the most of their green spaces and to transform local unused spaces into a blaze of wildflower, community groups, schools, charitable organisations and local authorities can have their own ‘Wild Weekend’ by applying for up to £500 of Garden Centre vouchers. The aim of the Wild Weekend grant is to help create wild-flower havens and to create new habitat and food sources for pollinators in Wales.
