Excitement is mounting at Interlink as we get to grips with putting on our first ever Outdoor Celebration of Volunteering, FestiVol.
The event will be a wonderful opportunity for our Member Organisations to showcase their projects and their work to the wide audience expected to pass through Ponty Park on a Summer Saturday! It also gives Members the chance to celebrate their Volunteers by bringing them along to a Family Fun Day, which will of course be free to all.
In one of our Marquees we will host Interlink’s Annual Volunteer Celebration Ceremony.

Integrated Offender Management Team (IOM) are looking for third sector agencies in the local communities that may be able to offer assistance to their offenders in IOM – whether this is advice and guidance or practical assistance in their resettlement. The aim is that for each area, the IOM teams can start networking with any agencies and eventually set up a local directory as to what is available for their offenders.
The areas we have come up with are as follows:-
Homelessness; Affordable/accessible housing; Assistance in advancing education; Finances/welfare rights/debt advice;
Lifeskills; Mental Health; Drug/alcohol problems; Mentoring; Self-esteem; Supporting young people (18-25); Parenthood (including young mothers/fathers); Women’s issues- advocacy, health, drop in, support and guidance;
