It is now all happening and we are very pleased to provide you with the latest information: The Essentials: Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act
Building Community Capacity – Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act
9.30am Wed 25th November @ Nantgarw Campus, Coleg Y Cymoedd
There are now a growing number of resources available for all of us in relation to understanding what the act means for the society and the third sector. A great resource is the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act Information and Learning Hub http://www.ccwales.org.uk/learning-resources/
The resources include an ‘Introduction and Awareness’ pack and an interactive e-learning module designed to improve your knowledge and understanding of the Act – click here to view it. Please note that this version is not assessed and there is no test at the end of the module.
The Cwm Taf (Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr Tydfil) Safeguarding Boards for Adults and Children have recently launched their new website, known as the “Safeguarding Hub”. On it, you will find all the up-to-date information you need on safeguarding, and you can report concerns. Please take a look as soon as you can; here is the link: http://www.cwmtafsafeguarding.org/
The Cwm Taf Safeguarding Boards are made up of key partner agencies who work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of people in the Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf areas. The Boards are responsible for protecting vulnerable adults and children from abuse, reducing the risk of abuse, and supporting people to stop abuse where it happens.
