Smart Meters – here to make energy savings easier. New smart meters make it easier than ever for you to understand and control your energy use and help you make savings. Smart Meter technology means your readings are sent remotely, so you don’t have to rely on estimated bills. This is particularly useful for elderly, disabled, visually impaired and customers with mobility issues. Each smart meter installation comes with a free smart energy tracker that shows you how much energy you’re using and the times when your usage is at its peak. The information will even help you set daily and weekly targets and may help you make changes to your energy usage – all of which could save you money. You’ll benefit even more if you choose to manage your account online. Shawn Sullivan, a local Community Engagement Officer from SSE Swalec, can visit your community group and explain the benefits of smart meters. Email: Shawn.Sullivan@sse.com or call: 07584 011179 mailto:Shawn.Sullivan@sse.com
