HomefinderRCT Service is changing…..
HomefindeRCT is a single point of access for people who want to apply for housing association properties (social housing) in Rhondda Cynon Taf. It gives applicants access to over 15,000 rented homes, provided by six housing associations.
Our aim is to give residents a simple and transparent way to apply for housing and more choice about where to live.
From the 3rd April 2017, all general applications for social housing will now be processed by the HomefinderRCT Team who are based in Ty Elai, Williamstown. Applicants can apply online following which a HomefinderRCT Officer will contact them to discuss and verify their application. The website for on line applications is www.homefinderct.co.uk
If applicants prefer, they can also contact the HomefinderRCT Team on 01443 425678 in order to make an application over the telephone. HomefinderRCT Officers will be available to assist with these applications between 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday.
If applicants cannot make an application on line or by telephone, then they are able to make one in person at the Housing Advice Centre in Sardis House, Pontypridd between 9am-4pm.
If a resident has an urgent housing need or is immediately at risk of homelessness then they must ring 01443 495188 or attend the Housing Advice Centre in Sardis House, Pontypridd where a Housing Advice Officer will be able to assist them with specialist advice. The HomefinderRCT number should not be used in these circumstances as the HomefinderRCT Team is not able to provide specialised housing advice or emergency housing.
