The launch of the new film by Fearless, the youth service of Crimestoppers, to encourage young people to be Fearless against crime in Wales. The video is to be rolled out to all schools in Wales in 2018
The film highlights a number of crime types that we see on a regular basis
The short film, made by ‘It’s My Shout Productions,’ features a series of fictional crimes witnessed by young people in different locations in Wales and shows them turning to Fearless. The aim of Fearless is to engage 11-16 year olds by providing non-judgemental advice, while giving them an outlet to pass on information about crime 100% anonymously. There is also a video in the medium of welsh.
The video could be used across the UK if there is appetite as its can , I am sure be a useful tool for a whole range of organisations/ education and parents
The video can be viewed here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUxkBMZj3yc&feature=youtu.be
There is also a Fearless website https://www.fearless.org/en
The work of Fearless will be added to Wales and UK Modern Slavery Training materials to highlight the way in which young people can report crime anonymously
