Opportunity to apply to the Vol Factor Grant
Interlink’s youth-led grant scheme offers grants to support youth–led volunteering projects involving 14-25 year olds in Rhondda Cynon Taff
The scheme will focus on ideas to connect people to address loneliness and isolation through volunteering and will be coordinated by a panel of young people from Rhondda Cynon Taff.
A Visioning Event to involve young people designing project proposal will be held on Thursday 20th September 6pm-8pm
(Venue to be confirmed)
The Panel will give guidance and may award funding on the night to successful projects.
Target groups will include:
Young people who are isolated and/or lonely
Young people with physical or learning disabilities
Young people not in employment, education or training
Young people wishing to volunteer in the medium of Welsh
Young people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities
Groups unable to attend the Visioning Event may submit written applications by the Final application deadline of Friday 21st September, 2018
Applications will require the following information:
Name of organisation
Brief paragraph describing the project
Applications will be shortlisted to a final stage when organisations will have another opportunity to give a brief presentation to the Panel and other young people on the evening of
Thursday 27th September, 2018 (at Interlink RCT)
