During September and October, the Valleys Taskforce will be holding a number of public engagement events in collaboration with Transport for Wales.
These events – ‘Our Valleys, Our Communities, Our Stations’ – will provide an opportunity for people living across the valleys, to learn more about the adoption of the valleys lines and the impact this will have on local communities.
The Deputy Minister is also keen for these events to offer an opportunity for people to discuss the priorities of the Valleys Taskforce following publication of his written statement last month. This will include the Valleys Regional Park, Housing, and Business Support amongst other local developments and priorities.
The events will be structured as an informal, drop in style market place between 16:00 and 19:00, with a Q&A, chaired by the local AM, from 17:30.
