Our advice to local Covid-19 Volunteer Support Groups, who are doing such an incredible job in such difficult circumstances, is to continue to support your community. The UK Government advice supports the continuation of the vital support being provided to local communities by volunteers. At the same time, public services are about to offer one to one support to vulnerable individuals throughout RCT using staff and volunteers. We aim to work with all of you to help identify those individuals being supported by community and voluntary organisations and those being supported by public services so we can offer a full range of support to everyone in RCT over the coming months. RCTCBC are setting up seven Community Resilience Hubs to coordinate efforts on the ground to support those advised by the NHS to self-isolate, as a result of pre-existing health conditions.
Please get in touch of you need any advice or support – we have a team of brilliant staff on hand to help you.
Take care and keep safe,
