“FNF Both Parents Matter Cymru” is a Welsh charity which help parents and grandparents who are being prevented from having a relationship with children they care about.
We offer emotional and practical support and advice. This can include a buddy service offering someone to talk to as well as opportunities to socialise with others in the same situation to share your experiences with.
We hold monthly support meetings across Wales where you can get free one-to-one legal advice from volunteers and solicitors: please see our website for details.
We produce research and briefings to help and support positive outcomes for children and families struggling with parental separation. We provide domestic violence support services for male victims of abuse, as well as lobbying and campaigning based on our research and values.
(Obviously during the CV-19 lockdown the one-to-one and group meetings are currently on hold, but we are offering telephone, facebook chat and facetime services in the interim).
We have a small team of volunteers who help run the charity and we are always looking for new volunteers to join us. If you are interested please email us and click on the volunteer tab on our website.
Please could you help by completing our short anonymous survey.
Survey of separated parents with shared care of children during Covid 19 pandemic.
This is a survey to capture the experience of separated parents with children during the current Covid 19 ‘lockdown’ in the UK.
The responses will be shared with government, academics and others to inform the development of policy to promote better solutions to share the care of children.
The survey has been complied by Shared Parenting Scotland and “FNF Both Parents Matter Cymru” two charities that provide information advice and assistance to parents and grandparents who are being prevented from having a relationship with the children they care about.
