INTERLINK COVID-19 UPDATE: 20 APRIL 2020
Thanks to all the community and voluntary groups in RCT.
We are witnessing some incredible work from the community and voluntary sector in RCT from delivering emergency food supplies and prescriptions to supporting people with their mental wellbeing. While the impact is devastating and will be felt for many years to come, new and existing groups are supporting their communities as never before in unique and innovative ways. We will work with members and partners to see what we can do together not only to thank all those local groups but look at how we can build on and develop an even stronger network of community and voluntary organisations in the future.
Greggs are offering £500 grants through their foundation https://www.greggsfoundation.org.uk/ . The Coronavirus outbreak is having a devastating impact. Charities, community groups and schools who support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities urgently need help. Greggs are providing urgent funding for emergency food parcels, hardship payments and small grants (average £500). To request support, visit the link above.
