Partners working with communities taken to new levels
We can thank all those partners who have stepped up to provide essential support to communities throughout RCT. There are too many extraordinary acts to mention but one example is Wales Probation Trust helping local groups in to deliver food / shopping and helping transport people with cancer to hospital appointments for Rowan Tree Cancer Care. Can these new partnerships lead to a transformation in how partners work together to support communities in RCT through and beyond Covid-19? Thanks to RCTCBC for their all-round support in coordinating partners.
BE AWARE OF SCAMS – THEY ARE OUT THERE!
‘Just a heads up. A couple of local elderly people have had people knocking pretending to be from social services, they made a quick exit when asked for ID. May be worth alerting vulnerable people in the area?’
Please find enclosed a Coronavirus Scam Postcard to share. Don’t forget, volunteers can access identification t-shirts and letters through Interlink. Coronavirus Scam Postcard
