The Wellbeing Team at Interlink RCT are picking up the baton from the inimitable Dawn Parkin for the next chapter of the Voyage!
From Dawn to dusk we will be partaking in a variety of activities around the 5 ways to wellbeing to raise awareness of the impact of Covid-19 on mental health and what you can incorporate into your lives to combat the impact.
We are starting on Monday 18th to coincide with mental health awareness week which this year has a theme of kindness. We will be chronicling some of the challenges we have set ourselves via a short video and will be taking photos to post on our progress.
Examples of some of the challenges are:
- Be Active: run 5K for 5 days
- Keep learning: learn 5 sentences in Welsh around wellbeing
- Connect: Make cards with wellbeing wishes to send to residents of a local Care Home
- Take notice: Mindfulness/ meditation every day for 5 days
- Give: home baking to staff at Mental Health unit in RGH
We will also be incorporating kindness throughout what we do. We will be posting daily updates on fb etc so you can follow our antics.
