Now we need your help to value and identify all the volunteers and groups that have helped people and communities across RCT through Covid-19 – the most amazing group of volunteers and organisations ever assembled in RCT. Further details will follow as we come out of Covid-19 lock-down.
We are looking for you to start nominating! We want you to nominate the fantastic groups and volunteers working throughout RCT – don’t be shy if you do not tell us, we will find you – we know who you are! Anyone can nominate. You can nominate a groups of volunteers all at once and/or tell us about individual volunteers who may have overcome lots of challenges or helped to support someone, a community, coordinate a street or group. SANITARY PRODUCTS NEEDED – REFLECT
Reflect delivers intensive, long-term support to women and their partners offering practical, social and therapeutic support with a focus on the development of new skills and taking positive steps for the future. The Reflect programme supports women that have had one or more children removed. Sanitary products are running low and are wondering if any of you kind folks could help us replenish stocks for families. Even one packet makes a big difference. WCVA Events on Understanding Covid-19
WCVA is doing a series of events focused on gaining a better understanding of how communities and voluntary organisations have responded to the COVID-19 crisis to date, what we have learnt, and what the implications might be for the future. An event, Post-Covid-19: health, social care and the voluntary sector, will take place on Monday 8 June from 2pm to 3.30pm on Teams. People who wish to join the session will have to register, for free, on our Eventbrite listing, which you can find here.
