A few week’s ago we told you all about the success of our Kindness in Lockdown project, and how we hoped to turn the co-produced poem that was created into a video celebrating all things Cwm Taf Morgannwg. Well…. that video is now becoming a reality and we want YOU to be part of it!
We recognise that one of the greatest things about the communities of Cwm Taf Morgannwg are the people who live there and we want this video to be a celebration of all the wonderful things that have, and continue to go on across our region through lockdown. We are working with some incredible film producers and they have put together some filming guidance and ‘shot’ ideas to help us involve as many residents as possible within the video. All you need is a phone/tablet to record on, and the willingness to allow your imagination to run wild.
We will be collecting your home footage until Wednesday 15th July 2020, with the hope to have the first edit of the video completed by Monday 20th July 2020. If you need any help or support to do this, or want to know more about the project, please get in touch (jenny@rctpeoplefirst.org.uk). You can film as much or as little as you want – remember this is your footage and you are in control, so don’t feel any pressure. The shot list contains many ideas, but if you can think of something different please feel free to have a go and send it in! Attached you will also find a video consent and release form. Don’t forget to fill this in and send it to us with your footage so that it can be included in the final video project.
You can send your footage to us via email (jenny@rctpeoplefirst.org.uk) or via one of our social media platforms using our handle @CTMVoices.
We can’t wait to see the creativity of our citizens flow as we remember and embrace some the positive and kind acts that have rippled through our communities during these unprecedented times.
Thank you, keep sharing and stay safe
