Many organisations, just like yours, are in need of extra support as we all battle the impact of COVID-19. The good news is . . . business is here to help and support.
Do you need help with project management, digital transformation, safe social distancing, people and HR, or communications and social media to help develop your organisation’s operation? Or perhaps you need help to source clothing, food or PPE? The National Business Response Network (NBRN) can help you by matching you with businesses who can support with volunteers and resources.
Case studies of success
Pragmatic and Ashtead Horticultural Society
NBRN connected digital agency Pragmatic with Ashtead Horticultural Society to redesign their website and create a virtual version of their annual summer show. This has provided members, many of whom are currently shielding, with the opportunity to share what they have grown thereby reducing social isolation for those shielding.
South Wales and SW FLT Training and Fareshare Cymru
Fareshare Cymru urgently needed forklift truck drivers to support the increased demand on their foodbanks. NBRN connected them with South Wales and South West FLT Training to train their volunteers so they can continue delivering vital food packages to communities in need well into the future.
Use the National Business Response Network
Business in the Community’s National Business Response Network takes community needs and links it to business resources in the right place, at the right time. Through an online platform, the NBRN shares what you need, and through Business in the Community’s vast regional and local connections with businesses and leaders on the ground, these are matched with donations and support.
If you have a need that could be met with business support, please enter your details on the business response Covid website, or contact localresilience@BITC.org.uk.
