Communities First Learning...
Based at Interlink Offices in Pontypridd Leigh McPherson is employed has a Communities First Learning Coordinator. He has a number of roles, some of which are listed below:
- Identify and support Learning needs in Community First areas of Rhondda Cynon Taff
- Conduct an analysis of training needs and produce a Learning action plan for each ward, which address duplication and gaps in the provision.
- Develop measures in performance so to increase awareness and encourage take up of learning for individuals, groups and or partnerships.
- Develop a Learning Network and facilitate working relations between Community First Coordinators, Partnerships, organisations, agencies and Service providers.
It is essential for the development of this role that leigh engages with all Community First Coordinators in Rhondda Cynon Taff and to further develop a learning network.
