Community Learning Strategy Group and Learning Network Group:

There are currently two main Community Learning Groups based in Rhondda Cynon Taff. There is a Strategic Group, which is made up of key the providers of Education in the Borough, The University, Adult Education Local Authority, and Coleg Morgannwg to name just a few. This group has the aim of strategically improving the education provision across the whole of the borough, ensuring best practice is adhered to and that the necessary systems are in place.

The Community Leaning Network Group, which is relatively new in its operation, is then made up of local level providers, tutors, and development staff, Training Providers and local learners. This group will aim to address issues of overlap in provision, duplication and identify gaps in the exciting provision.

The network will facilitate best working relationships between all organisation and agencies involved in community learning.

Both these groups will report quarterly to the Strategic Partnership for Lifelong Learning. The Bro Dysg Board.
