Routes to Recovery |
Routes to Recovery (R2R) is a nine-month knowledge building, self management and self development course for people who suffer with mental health problems over the age of 18 years. The course developed by Interlink involves individual support as well as group work. The two project workers also suffer with mental health problems themselves. There are up to 15 learners in each group and each meeting lasts about 3 hours. Many different professionals contribute to the training including nurses, social workers and other mental health service users. R2R helps people cope with their difficulties a lot better and there is the opportunity of gaining a level one certificate from the Open College Network. If you are interested in joining please contact Kath Jones at Interlink. |
